Holy Crap!
Until recently, there was a company in Japan that had been operated by the same family since 578. Yes, that's right, a company was run by 40 members of the same family over a 1400 year span. Crazy.

I recently met a professor who teaches at a Korean University founded in 1350 or something like that. Dude. America's got nothing on these guys.
