Social Econ Blog

This blog started as part of a sophomore economics tutorial (Everybody's Doin' It: Social Interactions and Economics) at Harvard. It continued when I taught Public and Environmental Economics courses at Lewis and Clark College. Now that I am back teaching at the University of Oregon, it is used to facilitate ECON 450 -- Labor Economics. It also serves as an outlet for my musings on economics (particularly social stuff) and other random topics.

ECON 260: Classes canceled today

I'm pretty sick. Rather than subject you to a lifeless performance and lots of nasty germs, I think it best to cancel classes today and pick up again Monday. Sorry for the inconvenience.
