A keen eyed student noticed that the NYTimes opinion page decided to publish something that should be very familiar to you all -- a discussion of obligations to future generations.

In the piece, they mention that the older people get the less they are willing to contribute to mitigation. If that is true, then shouldn't we take it into considerationin our calculations of a present value discount rate since we have all the baby boomers approaching old age?
